The Problem

Why does this extension exist?

Millions of drivers in Spain already pay for fuel and charging with Waylet, the Repsol wallet on their phone. If your chargers only take cards, you are asking those drivers to type a card number and pass a 3-D Secure challenge standing in the rain — and a large share of them simply drive to the next site. Waylet is the payment method they already trust; without it you are invisible to them.

  • In-app push payment: the driver is charged inside Waylet, identified by email, phone number or Repsol id — no card is typed at the charger
  • Web redirect checkout: send the driver to the Waylet payment page and bring them back to your own success, failure and close URLs
  • QR payment at the charge point: the driver scans, confirms in Waylet, and the session starts
  • Asynchronous outcome on a signed callback URL, so the session reacts the moment Waylet confirms — there is no polling endpoint to wait on
  • HMAC-SHA512 request signing and callback verification, so a forged payment result never reaches your ledger
  • Refunds through the v2 endpoint, which reports the amount actually returned to the driver
  • Sandbox and production environments, switched with a single setting per tenant

In-App Push Payment

The charge appears inside Waylet and the driver confirms with a tap. Identify them by email, phone number or Repsol id — no card details are typed at the charger.

Web Checkout

Redirect the driver to Waylet's hosted payment page and get them back on your own success, failure and close URLs. Works in any browser, with no app install.

QR at the Charge Point

Show a QR code on the charger screen or on a sticker. The driver scans it, confirms in Waylet, and the connector unlocks.

Signed Callbacks

The payment outcome arrives asynchronously on a signed callback URL. Every callback is verified with HMAC-SHA512 before it is trusted.

Refunds That Reconcile

Full and partial refunds through the Klikin v2 endpoint, which reports the amount actually refunded rather than the amount requested.

Sandbox and Production

Test against the Waylet sandbox and switch to production with one setting. Commerce id, API key, signing secret and redirect URLs are configured per tenant.

A driver pulls into a Madrid site, opens your app, and pays with Waylet — the wallet they already use for fuel. No card form, no 3-D Secure detour. The charge lands on their Waylet statement next to their fuel purchases.
QR on the charger, no account needed
A visitor with no account scans the QR on the charger. Waylet opens, they confirm the amount, and the connector unlocks. You captured a driver who would otherwise have driven on.
A refund that matches what was actually taken
A session ends early and the driver is owed part of the amount taken. The v2 refund reports exactly what Waylet returned, so your books and the driver's wallet agree without a manual reconciliation.
Simulated Case Study

Spanish CPO adds Waylet and converts 31% more first-time drivers

A CPO with 60 chargers across Madrid and Valencia accepted cards only. Roughly a third of first-time drivers abandoned the payment form at the charger. After enabling Klikin (Waylet), drivers who already carried the Repsol wallet paid in two taps. First-time driver conversion rose 31%, and within two months 44% of all sessions were paid in-wallet with no card entry at all.
